Jessa Torino "It is true when they say there are people who will choose to have your bad days. That if I throw my problems in a pile and see those from others, I will be ashamed and take mine back. Life is absolutely short to just waste it complaining."

About her: Born on the 16th of September, 1980 and grew up with her 2 siblings. A 38-year old mommy of a pretty girl, an Office Administrator for 12 years and a Food Blogger for 6 months. She's a Roman Catholic by faith.

Education matters: She attended Pre-school to Primary at Infant Jesus Learning Centre; went to Pampanga High School; and graduated college at the University of the Philippines.

Who are you if you’re a superhero and why? "I would dream to be Wonder Woman. I would like to give people who underestimate my capabilities the surprise of their lives. "😁

Did you ever find happiness and success together in your life? "It isn't really one way or the other. You need to be happy in order to be successful and not the other way around. I am happy where I am now and that to me is being successful."

Have you reached the rock bottom in life? How did you overcome it? "I can say I have reached a low point in life but not rock bottom. Resilience is the key to overcome anything. We have to accept the fact that everything will not be okay all the time. We just need to gracefully handle each struggle."

Who’s the greatest fan in your life?
My daughter looks up to me and I see to it that I set an example of someone who chooses kindness over anything.

What can you do in your own way to contribute to change in this world? "I'm into a "pay-it-forward" kind of campaign. I would love to just do random kindness to random people. This may not change the world completely, but will be a good start."

If not in your profession right now, who, what and where are you? Why? I could have been a chef. I love food to the bottom of my hypothalamus.

Her voice matters: "We live in a generation where women can speak up. This should be a world where gender, nationality, religion, etc... doesn't matter. So no matter what you feel will make you happy, don't let anyone or anything stop you. Go for it."
