Who are you if you're a superhero and why? She said, "I would be DARNA..!! Lulunok ka lang ng bato magagawa mo ng lahat."
Did you ever find happiness and success together in your life? "My happiness is always about my family and my kids. My success is whenever I see my guest at work happy and laughing. Like Dec. 27, 2017. It's my birthday but I still need to work, it was an outside party to be held on an orphanage, they held a surprise birthday party to a cancer patient. She knows that she has a party, but she doesn't know that there will be a surprise of her all time favourite mascot. So the party started, everyone is happy, I stare at the celebrant and I can see her pain. And then the moment came, we are about to come out in our costumes. The host started to introduce us and by the time she heard our names, she started smiling, and when she sees us, she started giggling. She really loves us, I know it's hard for her to move, but she's trying to grab us. I love the way she smiles at us as if we had given her a new life.
I may not be with my kids on my birthday, but at least I made a young cancer patient happy, we never know when will be her last breath but we thank God for making us His instrument to show His love for her."
Have you reached the rock bottom in life? How did you overcome it? "When i was 5 years old my father died and after his death, our family's lives turned differently. We moved to our granfather's house where we call "kwadra", (he's a horse trainor). As years passed, I was grade 4 then my when daddy Apoy died (my grandfather). Then our grandmother stood up for us, and our second sibling. I finished gradeschool by the help of my ate and lola. High school, actually I've spent seven years in high school, I went into different schools, and year 1994 I finally graduated. Im 18, but still doesn't have any idea what to take on college. I studied vocational course on missionaries of charity, (it's a free school for girls that is run by a nun) and I started to learn more about God, life, and the true meaning of being human. Every morning we need to clean and interact with the elders who lived in the "tahanan". Each and every elders has different stories, and I thought to myself I don't want to be like them nor my mother to be on that situation. For me, no children has a right to abandon their parents for they had took care of them when they were young. From then on I always have a heart for elders especially to my own grandmother, I dedicated myself to take care of her, no matter what.
I maybe an easy-go-lucky type of a person then but that helps me to overcome all my downfall in life, I just enjoy life, live my live on the happiest way I know. And now that I have my own family problems too, still with my straight forward attitude in life, they will never beat me. Cause I have God, my provider and He's bigger than those problems. "Kaya keri lang, sugod lang, laban lang ng laban".
Who's the greatest fan in your life? "Everytime I see my kids imitate my good deeds, by simply helping other people, I know they are my greatest fan."
What can you do in your own way to contribute to change in this world? "To encourage women, wives, and single moms to work even on the simplest things that they can and have income to provide for their children. Because having something to contribute in the family gives confident, and boost their self-esteem."
If not in your profession right now, who, what and where are you?
"A mother of 3 amazing kids, I would be staying at home each and everyday".
Her voice matters: "Don't worry when you are not recognized, but strive to be worthy of recognition"- Abrahan Lincoln
"Always be worthy for everything you do. Have courage. Learn to laugh instead of hurting yourself. Focus on your goals and strive hard to fulfill your dream and passion. Be a warrior of your own battle for God never leaves His loyal warriors."
" Be a mascot on your own life", the rule of being a mascot is to make other people laugh, make them happy, let them leave the party with smile. Bacause smile is contagious. That's how we're getting paid."
