Who's that girl? A 34 years old lady who grew up from the province of Surigao, Del Sur together with her 4 siblings.
Current occupation. She's one of the million Filipinos working overseas as a nanny for 12 years now in Dubai, UAE.
Learning journey. She graduated elementary at Mangagoy Elementary School on 1997; Graduated secondary level at Hinatuan National Comprehensive High School on 2001; Attained her college diploma at EARN Computer and Technical School on 2004 as Associate in Computer Science; Gained certification short courses such as English Speech Proficiency and Communication Skills, Human Resources Management, Logistics, Secretarial and Office Admin., Hotel and Restaurant Management, and Psychology at Filipino Institute in Dubai, UAE.
A Catholic Christian by faith and loves writing as a hobby.
Superhero in disguise as Wonder woman. "Because she's strong and independent, just like me," she said.
Going there. Still finding success and happiness together. Because she exclaimed that life of an OFW is hard. You can be successful but being away from the family is a heart-breaking reality.
Hitting the hard core. "I'm a very optimistic person. I look on the bright side of things despite all circumstances," she said.
Her daughter is her greatest fan in life. She explained that her daughter admires the fact that at her age, she's still studying and learning new things and new skills. It motivates her to focus on her studies as well.
To be a good citizen, that's the only thing she can contribute to change. To be a law-abiding citizen, respect and follow rules imposed by the government may it be in my own country or in the host country where I currently live. She added, "If we want peace, let's start within ourselves. Practice self-discipline."
Maybe a teacher or a motivational speaker. If she's not a nanny she said she love the idea of teaching. Anyway teaching is part of her job as a nanny. She loves encouraging and motivating people to see their potentials.
Her voice matters: "Always know your worth! We, women are gems. We are precious. Support each other and never stop learning."
