About her: A 59-year old Civil Engineer/Quantity Surveyor (BSCE, APICQS, Assoc RICS) who's been in her profession for 37 years. She's born on August 19, 1959 and grew up with her 4 siblings. Happily married with her 4 children. She's a Roman Catholic by faith.
Schools attended: Graduated Elementary at Nasipit Central Elementary School; finished her high school at St. Michael's Institute; completed college at Mindanao State University and Manuel L. Quezon University; Took some MBA units at University of Sto. Tomas.
Her interests: She likes reading, watching movies/tv shows, and singing though she said she's not a good singer.
As a SUPERHERO: She'll be Superwoman because despite and in spite of all her problems, she's still able to go on with life, enjoying work and living life to the fullest.
Success and happiness together: Yes, she found both. Many times in her life, she was able to have a balance family life and career. Her family is supportive of her career and other extra-curricular activities like membership in professional organizations.
Reaching the rock bottom and overcoming it: She said, "Yes, prayers and faith in God helped me overcome the trials."
Greatest fan: "I believe my children are my greatest fans in life," she mentioned.
Her contribution to change the world: She said, "Teach my children to forgive and be a good example of a forgiving and understanding person. One cannot love truly unless he forgives."
If not in her profession right now: She explained she'll be a Lawyer, because aside from dreaming of becoming an engineer, she dreamt of becoming a lawyer. In fact she planned to study law after she finished civil engineering but the lack of financial means stopped her from chasing her other dream.
Her voice matters: "Be strong. Don't let others look down on you just because you are a woman. Be a woman of substance. Strong, independent and loving," she concluded.
